Advice On Successful Website Production

March 4th, 2010

Some companies have people on staff that are so prolific with the writing and ideas for content on their site, they are channeling Stephen King without the creepy horror. But so often the content tapers off, even for us. I have been jotting down ideas that I come up with or collect from reading all over the next and looking at other sites, this is a list we pull from when clients, or even our own writers, get stuck.

Announce new products and special offers. Create a lengthy list of blogs about why your clients do business with you. Each selling point will make an article. Talk about why your services or better quality, which can include being American made, bulk buying to pass on savings, stuff like that.

Employee profiles. In depth product reviews, one at a time. Buying guides for your products, or how to choose a provider guides for service industries. Share humorous office stories, or customer stories; get personal. Share customer testimonials with a guest writer, or repeat what you heard. Answer a client question that has come up more than once (re-write your FAQ in your blog, one question at a time).

NEWS- talk about any type of news that correlates to your field of work. Opinionize it and tell how is affects you. Company news is another good idea. This can be high priority or trivial information. Talk about any achievements or presentations you went to.

Add things like products to avoid, what not to do, things of that nature. Make lists, like top 5 lists of various topics. You can include company recommendations, as well. Take a look at your competitors, they are definitely doing the same.

The best way to run a successful internet business is to include text link ads. With the proper back links you will be on your way to internet stardom. To learn more about back links and text link ads log onto www.lowprofilelinks.com.

Three Methods to Get Backlinks

December 28th, 2009

Your home based Internet business thrives on the traffic it receives. Your blog will get the attention of new visitors through backlinks, as they provide a gateway for interested parties to get to your website. These three methods can give you more traffic from your backlinks.

Presenting your blog post to social directories will rapidly point backlinks to your blog. Done correctly, submitting your blog to Stumble Upon and Digg will generate a good number of backlinks and large amounts of traffic.

Article marketing – This is an extremely cheap way to get backlinks and traffic to your website, and is still the most effective. Just ensure that your blog is linked appropriately, and you have original content in the article. Your blog will get linked through this method, since you can’t have direct links on article submission sites. Put as many links as you can get away with Article marketing submission.

- Post comments in related blogs. This is another simple, free way to generate backlinks to yourself. If your comment is relevant and intelligent, it will naturally attract more readers to your own blog. Adding comments to blogs that re related to your own is an easy way to propagate these backlinks. Most blogs will allow you to enter both your web address and your name within the comment box that accompanies each article. If possible, incorporate your main keywords into your name.

These three methods will get backlinks to your blog. All are easy and they do not take very long to do. Once you begin performing them with regularity, it will become habitual, much like checking the ever growing traffic to your blog. Hopefully, this will assist you with your effort to make money online and will enhance both your web-based business and blog.

The Top Ten Link Building Strategies

November 4th, 2009

Any owner of a website dedicated to increasing its value, page rank, and monetary income can appreciate the importance of the link building strategies. These goals can be accomplished using the link building strategies. You can be easily side tracked by the overwhelming options available on the internet. Achieving your online victory is the main reason the top ten most informative link building strategies have been laid out below.

Ready?

1) Start with submitting to Web Directory Listings- they boost your link popularity and improve your rankings on sites like Yahoo and Google with one way links to your website; driving traffic through direct referrals. You can submit your site to both paid and free directories. Setting up on free directories has one way links to your website and no strings attached; however it can take an eternity for your link to be reviewed. Paid directories have your website listed with a smaller amount of competitive links. Pick one that is moderately priced and find their rankings. Place your links on trusted directories such as Yahoo and DMOZ. There are millions of web directories out there but a more reliable well known one can up the ante of your website link.

2) Request an exchange of links on similar sites- linking to another site that is related to yours and offers no competition can be the step to getting an outgoing link on their site. This increases your site value.

3) Useful articles and press releases should be written. A useful piece of information to the readers could be a thoughtful and interesting article or press release that you have written. It can then be re-blogged, put on newsletters, and so on. This could lead to more quality linkages to your site and will increase your value.

You should strive towards social book-marking sites. Although people have a tendency to shy away from these it is important for your link building strategies. Your site can be linked to every user in the world and they are not made by unnatural algorithms. Instead your site’s worth is determined by real people that tag you.

5) If your site is not unique enough BUY text links from other sites – pretty self explanatory. It is important to make the text links look viable and real.

Get involved in online forums. Have an active stream of comments, to build your credibility, instead of commenting all in one day.

7) Another way of creating a stand within the online community and linking back to your site is by writing testimonials and reviews.
8) Ask clients and vendors to post links back to your site- a simple link building strategy.

9) A gold mine that is easy set up and easy work is blogs. With the understanding that it’s about quality not quantity, you can post on anything. A great link building strategy is blog commenting as well.

The final link building strategy is Content! You can build tremendous traffic with quality content on your site. Webmasters naturally want to link to quality content to link their readers to something useful. Building links yourself is not required with quality content, they will be built for you.

Try These Linkbaiting Techniques

November 4th, 2009

Linkbaiting is something most, if not all, webmasters do-whether they realize it or not! Who doesn’t want their content linked to? Backlinks are a good thing, and getting them without any extra effort on your part should always brings a smile to your fac

Creating content that prompts one-way in-coming links from other webmasters is not only complimentary but also a “vote” of confidence that Google cannot ignore.

The methods you use to try and get people to link to your content is only limited by your imagination, and some will stop at nothing in order to succeed, hence the bad rap linkbaiting has gotten in some circles.

I’m not here to argue the ‘ethics” of linkbaiting techniques, but to offer what I feel are the five best “white-hat” linkbaiting techniques to use in your writing.

My five all time favorite, best, tried and proven linkbaiting techniques:

Write content that is the best “out there” on your chosen topic. Make your content compelling, unique, attention grabbing, provocative, and make sure it provides real, useful, value for your visitors.

Be the first-Break the “big” story in your niche. This can be very effective in getting some of those back links. Always stay up-to-date on the happenings in your niche, be on the “cutting edge” of anything that’s new or ground breaking in your niche.

Provide a useful tool or software-By doing this you will get backlinks, there is little doubt about it! Even if you can’t produce the tool or software yourself you can buy it or pay someone to produce it for you. The more needed and useful the tool or software the more links it will generate for your site.

Provide a list of links to high value sites or resources-Give your visitors links to more info, or more resources on your niche. Try to make your list the most complete, or the very best list available, try to stand out for the pack!

Give stuff away-Everybody wants free stuff (I know I do!) So give it to them, and they will share it with their friends. The more value you can give away the more links you’ll find showing up.

If you consistently use these linkbaiting techniques in your writings, whether posts, articles, or whatever you could start to see this type of back links begin to show up with regularity. And from a seo perspective (and in the eyes of Google) this type of link is about the best you can get!

Building Page Rank – The PR Of It All

October 30th, 2009

‘Page rank’ is based on intricate and complicated algorithms that determine your site’s importance and authority. Why is this important? Well, building PR ups your chances to be scored by a search engine like Google; using your competitive key words. Also, having higher ranking pages aids you by making you and your website available to a massive community of people needing your services, products or advice. Keep in mind you are playing in a mine field and every mine waits in the sand to be stepped on only to blow you to pieces if you do not have the right moves. Building page rank is one of those moves!

A Page Rank (PR) thing

Home to millions of citizens the internet is a place to be noticed, if you are unique. Being unique is inevitable if you want your website or business to grow and prosper. The defining difference when building page rank is the amount of quality of incoming links to your site, quantity should be less of a factor.

If you seek higher page rank then you should aim towards quality links to your site. Popping out link after link to unrelated pages will not gain you PR. Actually, search engines like Google spot this quickly and penalize websites who put out too many unrelated links to their site too fast.

When building back links it is important to link to and from websites with a high PR because this can increase the rank of your pages as well. Google tries to produce for us the latest up to date ranks they have but this does not mean that one site is less valuable than another or that the quality is lower. Building page rank takes time and if the sites confer to yours then link up.

The quality of internal linking also determines the builing of page rank, however external linking is the most influential factor. Due to the fact that you are not able to force other websites to link yours this part leaves you with the least control, especially if they already have a high PR. You must learn the correct way, when it comes to external linking, to find and request websites to link sites when a relevance is present between your site and theirs. It is all about getting the PR of it, and you can always hire someone to do it for you if it seems too complicated.
